Hello fellow datanistas!
Ever wondered what makes SciPy such a special event for the scientific computing community? Let me share why I'm eagerly anticipating this year's conference in Tacoma, Seattle.
SciPy returns to the Pacific Northwest, a region that holds a special place in my heart. Beyond the conference, the area offers incredible food and beautiful scenery. The community of tool builders at SciPy is unmatched, and networking with them is invaluable. I've been involved in the financial aid program for nearly a decade, a cause close to my heart. This year, I'm thrilled to teach two tutorials: one on LLMs and another on Network Analysis. Lastly, the code sprints are where the magic happens, offering a chance to contribute to open-source projects. Read more about my excitement for SciPy 2025 here!
If you're on the fence about attending SciPy 2025, I can't recommend it enough. Meeting the tool makers, learning about new libraries, and being part of this vibrant community is an experience unlike any other conference.
I hope you'll consider joining us at SciPy 2025. Feel free to forward this post to anyone who might benefit from it!
Cheers
Eric
