Moving the DS Programming Newsletter to Substack

Hello fellow datanistas,

First off, I wanted to wish you all a warm welcome to 2021. After everything that happened in 2020, I'm grateful we made it to 2021 without a nuclear meltdown or an internet shutdown. (Both would have been disasters of equal magnitude!)

I wanted to reach out about moving the newsletter to Substack. I hear rumblings that Mailchimp is planning to do some "big business" things to TinyLetter, which doesn't bode well for the platform. I have decided to move over to Substack, which has a better user experience for newsletter writers and readers. I will also port over the newsletter archive so that nothing will be lost.

To make this migration easy for you, I plan to export my TinyLetter subscribers' list and move it over to Substack. You won't have to do anything.

Regarding January's newsletter edition, it's a bit delayed as I have been adjusting to life with a newborn baby girl. She arrived in November, and we had a rough first two months, but finally having some domestic help allowed us some freedom to readjust. I appreciate the patience and support you have given :). Hang tight; I've found a few hours to properly compose the high-level ideas that have been going through my head, which I hope will be handy for you too.
