Hello fellow datanistas!
Towards the end of the year, it’s a good time to review what I’ve learned. I've recently penned down my thoughts on leadership, pulling from my experiences as a data science team lead, written in this blog post.
Recognizing that my natural inclinations are to dive deep into complex scientific problems and code up solutions, doing people work isn’t my first instinct, and so I’ve had to learn a ton.
Within the post, I've explored various threads, from the power of leadership to the importance of fostering psychological safety within a team. I've also touched on the significance of humility, a trait I personally find challenging to cultivate.
I’m pretty sure that we can all learn from each other's experiences and perspectives. So, after reading, please share your thoughts on what leadership means to you!
And if you find the post insightful, please do forward it to others who you think may benefit from it. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Cheers,
Eric
