Conference report: SciPy 2024
My thoughts on SciPy 2024! And... my colleague Anand Murthy is hiring!
Hello fellow datanistas!
I've just returned from SciPy 2024, and I've penned down stuff I learned and enjoyed about the conference — tutorials that expanded my skill set, lightning talks that sparked new ideas, and not to forget, the sprints where collaboration brought concepts to life - it's all captured in my latest blog post.
But it's not just about the technical knowledge; it's about the people too. The connections made, the collective groans made towards the Pun Table during the lightning talks, and the hallway track, all contribute to the SciPy experience. This is one of my favorite conferences to attend!
If you’re curious about the conference, please check out the post here. And if you find it as enriching as I hope you will, please forward it to others in our community who might benefit from it as well. Let's keep the spirit of learning and sharing alive!
Cheers,
Eric
P.S.: my colleague Anand Murthy is hiring for a Senior Software Engineer in either the Seattle or Cambridge offices of Moderna! This is a position that works closely with the DSAI teams at Moderna (including myself), and will involve building ML platform tooling that serves the needs of data scientists and machine learners across the company. If you’re interested, check out my LinkedIn post for more details and the job posting!
